Should i get Eskabar BK14 or original BK11 Neck Knife?

Well....would you wrap it with cord? Or add the micarta grips? Personally, the Regular Necker is more comfortable with the micarta..But that is just me.

I have both and would totally agree. The 11 with the micarta is like a whole different knife than it is wrapped. The 14 wrapped is pretty sweet also but if I had to pick one it would be the 11 with the micarta.
 
Id wrap it. And the notch is a bottle opener and a wire/fence breaker? I can see bottle opener but how does it break wires?

it gives you a hardened leverage point to flex the wire back and forth against, and eventually it breaks
 
The original post was a link to a Bk 14 for sale and also a link to a Bk 11 for sale. I have had 4 BK 11's and given away 3 of them as gifts either to folks who were drooling over them or just needed a gift. That having been said I hoard my extra BK 14 in the safe and don't let folks know I have an extra one. I like both but the 14 is tit's .

wait for the new sheath, make your own, buy a 3rd party one ($20-30 shipped even)
 
It was between an ESKabar and Necker, not ESKabar and Remora, just sayin'.

I say throw caution to the wind and go BK2....I mean you know your going to anyhow...well maybe you don't, but you will. ;)
 
The 9 does make a good neck knife, but you need to be at least 6' tall ;)
 
Another vote for a BK14.

I vote 11, then get and ESEE Izula, then get the 14 to have the best of both worlds and decided for your self. I love the 11, its my camping out knife when we are car camping. Makes great hot dog sticks, keeps me entertained whittling stuff, and the tactical beverage entry tool comes in handy
