I Can't Find The KZ Proto Thread...

... so I post here. I received a KZ Proto 2011 Blade from Daid Brown. This is perfect! Fits a normal man's hand like a glove. Only about 1/2" - 5/8" "slide of the hand up or down on the handle when gripping. It feels great. The "point" where the blade meets handle is a potential problem only if you let go of your ring and pinkie fingers while chopping. This act may bring into play the "corner" in the steel that has been mentioned. Otherwise, seems like a non-issue.

I will snarf up any LE/SE satin version that may be released. It begs to be held. The most comfortable long Busse I've held so far.

I don't think there was a thread describing the prototype KZ's. There was a thread explaining the Test Team process, but with no description about what they were testing. The Test Team editions are the ones we've seen so far, and the modified version is in the form of the KZII. The proto-test team's, to my knowledge, never got a post from jerry on the boards.

The only threads I've seen are from people who bought them and posted images:

That was the thread to which I was referring. I should not have named my thread KZ Proto Thread. I was merely giving one drunken man's first impressions in light of some of the comments made in that thread by some who had not yet acquired/tested one (?). Anyway, mea culpa, I should turn off my computer after midnight as a matter of course as I make a big enough idiot of myself playing with my dogs .
