My wife confiscates anything she finds in the wash, money, knives, whatever.
You only need to loose a knife once, to start checking your pockets.
This is still better than ME having to do the laundry.

i think i've left my dragonfly in my pants pocket a couple of times into the wash.
i have a bad habit of being really tired and forgetting to put my merlin out where it will be easy to find. left in the pocket, taken out while laying down (i sleep on a little featherbed) and just kind of dropped in one of the messy areas of the floor, tossed into and not located among the pile of 30 or so black locking folding knives (maybe 1/4 spydies) on this table, etc. haven't permanently lost one yet, though!
