Bumping this thread for help on the same topic.
(( I moved this to its own new thread. ))

..I can't seem to reply to any of the Moderators messages. ???

I've been searching for a solution to this problem and came across this thread so I'm asking for some assistance with this.

So, to re-cap:

I have NO private messages options in my User CP. ???

I can't reply to private messages. ???

On a secondary note, I feel that I was unfairly penalized w/ infractions by "Blues" because I was trying to figure out this problem while a thread I had commented on was being replied to. I'm NOT saying I wasn't guilty of said infractions, ONLY that I didn't have time to correct/edit because I was spending time trying to figure out what the hell was going on w/ my PM's. I wanted to ask for guidance/advice and before I could figure things out and edit my mistakes the "infractions" were given! Esav, you were part of the thread in question so maybe you cold look into this for me.

Thanks!

*edit* Ok, something is broke? I can't PM Esav. Just tried. Please advise. TIA

Ditch Digger,

As a reg user you can recieve Pm's from moderators, but you cannot respond, as you don't have the Pm priveledge. In order to respond you will have to use Email. Many Mods have their Emails posted in their signature, If not, you can access their contact info thru their profile.

As for the infraction and warning, it is best to read the rules and think before you post. I wouldnt hold much hope for a reversal on them. Learn and move on....

Karda got it -- only paid members can return PMs. VERY confusing, I know. It's just recently that Registered Users could even receive PMs.

You do have access to Visitor Messages and email. Everyone can get and receive Visitor Messages. Most members will accept email, but don't have to. Moderators will accept email.

You can email a moderator by clicking on their name at the head of a post and selecting email option. As Karda mentioned, many of us now post our @bladeforums email in our signature lines.

All of this information is provided to you in the FAQ, in the initial registration email, and in the rules posted in this forum.

OK guys, THANKS!

..I admit it, stupid newbie problems, and sorry for taking your time. I guess I'm guilty of being a veteran at other forums and make certain assumptions and have taken liberty with my behavior here. I'll be on better behavior and have been reading the FAQs/rules so you won't have to worry about me anymore (hopefully :p ).

Hey, there is a bright spot in this, since Esav made my questions a separate thread, future searches will yield positive results for similar problems/questions. That is, if the bleeping n00bs will use the search function! :D

Best regards,
Digger

When you post offensive language, images or "emoticons" and it comes to the attention of the forum moderators via other members, we address it as quickly as possible to avoid having others either offended or subjected to the same issue.

Seems to me that you were quick to offend (others) and also now quick to whine and take offense (despite it all resulting from your own doing).

If you require assistance, that's fine, we're happy to help. But don't publicly whine about getting hit with an infraction that you deserved. (Especially when even a cursory review of the guidelines you agreed to when you signed up are clear on the issue of respecting your fellow members.)
