I can't seem to use my knives that aren't CRK's

My deleted thread is alive and well again. :D:)

I have some CRK's that I usually carry. I have a hard time carrying my knifes that aren't CRK's. I really like CRK's a Lot.

Does anyone else with a few, or maybe more, CRK's have other nice or maybe even high end knifes that don't get carried very much.

My other folders can't understand what happened. Knifes are the same as knives right ?

I can relate. While I do carry and love my other knives, I can easily see how a person can go CRK only.

Yeah. It pretty much rules the roost in my knife world.
I put it down to carry Leatherman's sometimes though.

After getting two CRK's, a Large 21 Insingo and Large 21 Tanto Micarta, I actually stopped carrying any of my other knives. Since I don't keep what I don't carry, I sold off the rest and now plan to slowly add more CRK's. Currently, my only non-CRK is a Flytanium 32 as a secondary carry knife, mostly play with such that I don't constantly open/close my Sebenza. Next on my list is an Umnumzaan, and after that I'm probably looking at a damascus 21.

I'm just the opposite, the Reeves rarely get carried....i like them but if I need a knife that really cuts I pocket a Military. :)

Yeah I can relate too. I've even tried custom knives and they don't fill the bill like my sebenzas. My current EDC at home is my 25. At work it's a mnandi and a large plain insingo.

For my locking knives, CRKs are king of my pockets. Since they don't make slipjoints and I like those equally, they have to split time.

Oh damn....Shots fired! And in the CRK subforum no less:D

Anyway, to answer OPs question:

Yes, I almost exclusively carry my small 21 cf inlay. Its hard not to when it' just does so perfectly what I want out of a knife. Of course from time to time I'll mix it up and carry a flipper or heavily pimped BM, but my CRKs are always the first ones I look to every morning

Small 21's almost every day every occasion. Just bought a gold leaf ccg today for a "dress knife". I can clip a small 21 and put the iPhone 6 in the pocket and never have them touch or have difficulty getting either out.

I need a large 21 to see how it carries. Didn't like to carry the 25, a bit heavy for me.

The only other one I've been carrying lately is a ZT 0452CF (carries batter that my 25 did) and that's only when I'm headed a place in uncomfortable with. That thing is scary looking.

And ALWAYS a SAK in the left pocket.

I've tried the rest and now carry the best. My CRK 21 UG exclusively.

I carry my small regular Sebenza every day, but I also carry some other knife in case some one wants to "borrow" a knife. My CRK's do not get loaned out.

I stopped carrying and eventually unloaded all of my other modern-style knives after trying CRK. Then I got quite a bit more into traditionals, but that faded after a while of finding myself only reaching for the CRKs again.

Got a really nice custom slipjoint recently thinking I'd carry it on special occasions and around the house but have found that I want to carry it instead of a seb most days! I don't think this is going to fade, I think high end handmade slipjoints are here (in my 'collection') to stay.

I almost only carry my sebenzas or umnum. 10% of the time ill carry one of my 2 militarys fluted ti frame lock or all black standard g10 model. Its the only other knife ill really carry these days, and only if i wamt to have a full sized knife on me.

I carried CRK's on occasion but still carried a variety of grips, mini grips, and especially knives from the spyderco sage series.

Then I got a Carbon Fiber Sebenza 21. Since then it is a Carbon Fiber Sebbie every weekday. Sometimes on the weekend I'll carry my Thorburn L51. But pretty much every other knife I own has either been sold, traded, or sits in the drawer jealous of the CF Seb 21.

Most every day I carry a CRK and a Strider. It works for me.
I'm trying to rotate some of the others in, but I'm having very little success. I look at them in the morning and start to reach for a Spyderco and go naw, I'll stick with what I know and trust.

If we're talking about knives in the same price range, I've got a couple Hinderers that never get carried. I do like the 3" a lot, but it's dull from the Ranch and needs a sharpening. The 3.5" is just too damn big for EDC and just sucks at cutting. I'll occasionally carry a Military or Delica, but the small 21 has gotten exclusive carry for about a month. The large 21 has gotten the most use in the past month.

I love my CRKs but I rotate my EDC, love to mix it up. While other knives have came and when, I always return to my CRKs though.

Yep, still love my other knives but my primary carry is always a CRK.
