I can't sharpen my nessmuk

I tried on multiple occasions to try and resharpen my jeff white nessmuk and i can't put an edge on it. Can you guys recommend a way of sharpening it.

What are you using to sharpen it? Have you tried putting a black marker on the bevel edge to make sure your reaching the apex of it. You need to raise a burr on each side then progress to other stones knocking the burr off.

Can you sharpen you other Nessmuks? Can you sharpen your non-Nessmuks? What sdtell is that Nessmuk? Can you sharpen other knives of that steel? What are you using to sharpen?

This may sound offensive to some here, but when I screw up an edge completely and feel I need to essentially start from scratch, I have resorted to using a Chef's Choice electric sharpener to give me a new starting point. This has only happened a couple times after getting so frustrated. Happened with a Condor Bushlore a couple years ago, and I am back to sharpening by hand again.

I don't recommend this approach, but it is what I have done in the past.
