I can't sleep!

Its been a horrible night, I managed to sleep till about 2 Am, then I couldn't take it any longer. My Chron's is acting up again, gut feels horrible, and there was not one position I could get comfortable in, so I got out of bed, took a shower and got the coffee maker going.

So here I am at the computer, no sence going down to the shop, I am so tired I cannot sleep. Turning on the grinder wouldn't be wise at this point, at the least I would ruin the blades I am working on, at worst I could end up feeding and losing an arm into the machine- not a great thing to do. So computer time is safer.

I wonder how many of you come here when sleeping is impossible

Sorry to hear of your discomfort. My honey has Crohns,qiute severe at times. It's been giving her a time for the last couple of months.And when she does'nt sleep, I usually don't either. It's not uncommon for me to be on here in the wee hours of the morning!!

You got to sleep man!

Turning it off is as important as turning it on. You need to control both.

I practice meditation, which has helped a lot. It's sounds funny, but the subconscious mind will continue problem solving while you are asleep and you can often wake up with the answers... sleep on it.

The mind is like a dog on a leash. You have to try to control it.
