I have a BK-11, BK-14 and a BK-2. I found this forum and have been reading the good reviews on the BK-9 and I just had to order one. I can't wait to get out on the trails next week with it, that is if my wife doesn't kill me first.
 
Looks like you got a bad case of the fever, and we all know there is no cure. Have fun :D
 
I understand the feeling. I have almost two of each kind. You'll love the BK-9. Just tell your wife you'll use it to trim the hedges. Its a fantastic chopper. I cleared away some holly bushes that were invading the house the other day. Its sweeeeeeeet chopping goodness.
 
I don't have "wife" at the moment, only the light version of it. It's called "girlfriend". It's much less effective.
 
I haven't tried "wife" yet. I heard that if you do it once, your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body, if you catch my drift :D
 
I know what you mean, just pulled the trigger on a BK7 off amazon. Couldn't stop thinking about it, in wife's eyes it's the same "big black knife" I've been playing with, little does she know all 5 of them are different.
 
I can't wait to get my hands on my 9 that is on it's way to my house :D (thanks maethor :thumbup:) I did have an opportunity to play with one for a little while (thanks Fal'er :thumbup:), and I was hooked. I do have a wife, and I'm waiting to wake up dead one day from all the stuff that I do with these awesome knives. There are a lot of very cool things that can be done to all of the Becker line of knives. Welcome to the sickness and the Becker sub-forum!!!
