...from my Damascus wood large Sebbie to my bocote Al Alexander. I am totally impressed with the man's work, and am proud to wear this knife on my belt. Sorry if I'm embarrassing you, Al!

Wow, very nice. It has a nice simple utility look to it. Seems like it would make a great EDC fixed blade. Any specs on it?

It's D2 and I beleive the blade length is a little over 3".
 
I'm not much of a fixed blade person, but that is one SWEET looking knife!! I love that blade shape also. Wear it proudly.
 
Good to see another brave soul making the switch to a fixed blade knife for EDC.
A fixed blade for EDC may take a bit of getting used to, but I'm convinced it's the better way to go since it deploys faster and is inherently stronger than any folder.

Just in case anyone's feathers get ruffled, I'm NOT against folders, I carry one(or two) more often then my fixed blades since the corporation I work for frowns on that, but the minute I get to my car, on it goes and on my hip it stays till I hit the sack. Also, the fixed blade is backed up by an Axis AFCK or Chinook II in my left pocket.
 
I'd carry a fixed EDC in a heartbeat if I could. But I can't. Work in an office, would look weird in my dress clothes. Plus, California's crazy knife laws about what's concealed and what's not.

I'd love to have a knife just like in that picture, but maybe a 4.5 inch blade... I love flat grinds!
 
Maybe it's just me, but I just bought a Buck custom 110 damascus stag folder, and I would never dream of taking it out of the box. A damascus knife as an EDC? I thought they were supposed to be shelf models!

Umm... He said it was a D2 blade.

That is some nice leather work also. :D

He said his prior EDC Sebenza was damascus.

Any chance you could post a pic of the Benz? :cool:
