I collect Q's and have a question....

Has anyone ever seen a Q with a Fish, Viking Helmet, African Mask, or completely Hollow pattern?

Dan- I have the first two that you are talking about. As far as I know the completly hollow pattern was a proto only from the research I did when looking for them. Haven't seen the mask one at all.

No problem Dan- us Q collectors gotta stick together. Still some I'm looking for and can't get. Keep looking. I even spent some time on the phone internationally to get a couple of mine. Good luck.

Hi Lureman. We made quite a few "Q"'s that were for particular customers. In those cases, we did make some very special pieces. There were in fact African masks, fish, deer running through the forrest, etc. These were logos of particular customers and they required that no one, not even our collectors were able to get them. When we set up the museum at the outlet store, we'll set up some type of "Q" display. I'm sure that we could make "Q"s again, but there were a few problems/glitches to work out. The real reason for discontinueing production was the high costs of making them. If we charged as we should, then the market balked. One of those, "hey, that's really cool, but not for that price".

In reality, any Q's purchased are worth more than they cost new, simply because of the cost of trying to reproduce them.
