As I said in the title, I could be wrong...I have just come back to CRK after a too long hiatus, self inflicted of course. I own a number of other knives including Hinderer, Spyderco, etc. I think (and here is where I may be wrong) that aside from a couple models from Emerson that can be ordered in a lefty version, that CRK is the ONLY major manufacturer that makes lefty knives as a regular part of their production. I am not talking about knives that have multi-positional orientation for their clips, or use ambidexterous locks like the Axis. I mean truly dedicated left hand knives.

So I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to CRK for giving me/us that option. :D

That's what you get for being wrong handed :)
Welcome back

Thanks Peter! But remember, since the left side of the body is controlled by the right side of the brain, it is the left handed person that is in their right mind ;)

Spyderco offers the Military in lefty configuration to include lock side, etc.

Gronk, good point, but unless I am mistaken (which is always a possibility ;) ) it is only tip down carry. I was also under the impression that it was either a limited release, or very infrequently produced...

I'm another one who is extremely grateful that CRK offers their knives in a dedicated left hand configuration. I agree with Steve I think they are the only knife makers that regularly offer us southpaws a wide variety of their products. Kudos to CRK they rock!

I think we can all agree that Spyderco doesn't come close to CRK as far as quality or functionality goes. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm thinking that the intent of the original post was that CRK is the only company offering knives at its level of perfection as left-handed models - that might have been why he didn't consider Emerson or other companies that offer left-handed models as a valid comparison.

I've seen them fairly regularly. They are a fine knife but obviously not in the same league as CRK quality or price wise, and Sal at Spyderco says that as well. Just offering up an option you may not have considered. And, yes, they are currently tip down only.
