Hello all,

New to this forum looks like a good place to be. :)

It came today and there will be more, my first one and a keeper, great feel, great machining, fit and finish first class ……………………………………. No need to continue you all know better than I do.

We should keep a photo contest about hinderers no matter where, no matter which angle, you can’t hide this blade; I don’t know yet what but there is something special about it.

Anyone out there with pivot Or detent issues please send your XMs to the fine fellas in this thread, we will take great care of them for ya. ;)

That's a beautiful knife.
I have managed to squirrel away an XM-18, as well as an XM-24 - both flippers, myself.
They truly are two of my most prized.

Thank you all for the nice welcome to this forum and the nice remarks.

GRB & RMA the Monolith is my favored .45

Need2Know, that .50 Cal Beowulf is a fun thing; I like the 400 Gr better than the 325 Gr :D

Coincidentally, your first Hinderer and my first Hinderer - Same exact knife.

I still remember that day, opening the box and just staring at it for awhile. Had read and seen pics but now one was sitting in front of me and it was - mine.
Took awhile for it to sink in, it was so different from any other knife I had ever held.
I don't remember many things making that first impression on me.

You’re so right Rubi; most of the time the first impression is the best one.

You poppin' caps meng? Gettin' ready for Qualifying or just general all-around practice?

I have a PhotoBucket app on my Droid (not sure about the iPhone)

Nothing as fun as either of those unfortunately. I'm an instructor for my agency and I spent the day working a remedial. Funny thing is when you teach you never get to shoot. Look at the lint on my Glock, shameful! All in all though it ended up well and the weather was beau-t-full.

Not as nice as the above pic but the more guns the merrier (as long as their not pointed at me)!photo-14.jpg
I give up! Can't get the damn thing upright and only a thumbnail!
