as my wife went and bought a kershaw junk yard dog. It isn't the big one. The product number is 1720ST. Yes, she even got the one with serrations. It has the military decoration on it. She slapped my hand when I tried to slip it into my pocket. Anyhow, the knife is sweet and an excellent fit for her hand. It was between a scallion and the small jyd. I let her pick but I was hoping she would go for the jyd. Just thought I would share... :-)

that reminds me of my cousin. A gun and knife nut. He though a .357 Ruger sp101 would make a great gift for his wife (right when they got married) so he "gives" it to her thinking it will really be his any time he wants. She actually loved it, and went out and got a little bed side safe to keep it in. He never got the combo, and if he wanted to use it he had to ask her permission and she would let him. Ha!

I bought a Glock .40 specifically so it would be an easy gun for my wife to operate if she needed to, and she thinks it is hers now, because I purchased it rather than a Sig for ease of her operation.
