I'm not a Kershaw enthusiast and don't own any of their products. The few times I visited the KAI forum
it seemed they were a little too thin-skinned regarding any criticism of their company or products. Just
an observation, not a condemnation.

Heya Kai Corp! It takes a lot o' time and energy moderating a sub-forum; maybe takes away from the focus on coming up with smokin' new models for knife-nuts? Anyhoo, it's solid that you're a Platinum Member and keeping your finger on the pulse, as it were... and supporting the Forums! :thumbup:

We're just stepping down a level, as yes it takes a lot of time and energy having a sub-forum.

We'll still be here to answer questions, talk about the brands, and generally support the BFC.

Actually this might be a good thing the more I think of it I never wandered out here to see what else is happening as Im pretty much a KAI collector. Broaden my horizons ect. I just hope it stays positive and fun here and I can learn some new stuff

You should have seen back when Thomas (Head of Kershaw) was a member here. Everytime someone would barely say something bad about Kershaw he would immediately jump in and get extremely defensive with everyone. That was one of the reasons why he decided to ban himself from here. He just couldn't take some bad comments about his company from some of the members here.

Now the fact that Kershaw has closed their forum just because some idiot was bashing on them tells me that they are indeed a little too thin-skinned to hang on bladeforums. They lost some of my respect.

We dont know that Johns video was the reason KAI closed the forum. It was a corporate decision is all we know there was problems there for a while. Whatever the case its done and over with and time to move on. KAI seems to be here to answer our questions and maybe give some info and thats a good thing . Yes Im a KAI fan but it doesnt change a thing its time to move on .

Look at you with all the answers. Feel free to fill in the blanks whenever you want. You don't know why Kai decided to pull their forum and you probably never will. Do you know Thomas? Do you really know why he does what he does? All rhetorical questions by the way.
