I decided to buy a Custom Commander instead is this a good price?

i decided to get a Custom commander from a guy at work who needed some quick cash i paid 900$ for a damascus blade commander with pearl handles and blue anodized liners bolsters, and clip is $900 a good price ? i carry teh knife and use it but only lightly as its my dress knife my daily carry is my CQC7b black blade plain edge( teh custom sommander is also plain edge
 
Depends on the condition of the knife, but I'd guess that it's in good shape considering the custom shop just opened. Your friend probably just bought the Commander. $850 is the cost of bolsters and Pearl so IMO $900 is a bargain if you're set on getting a custom production. On the other hand, for the materials etc. I think the price is high.
 
If you like it, and you are not starving because you got it, then it is a good price. Remember, there are not alot of those commanders floating around.
If you got it and like it, you don't need the reassurance of anyone here!

Tell us about your score! If it's one of the one's I'm thinking of it'll be EKI marked, 2000 and High Contrast Ladder Damascus. Am I correct?

Who did you buddy say did the MOP for him? Does it have bolsters?

yes its got blue anodized bolsters and if i ever get a camera of any sort i'll post pics of my collection
the reason i asked if 900 was a good price is because i see custom emersons going for up to 2500$ on line
