Well y'all I decided and ordered a 0550 gen 2 blem from kershawguy. Hopefully it will be here by Wednesday and I will update this thread with my first impressions.

Got mine a few days ago from Kershawguy. Supposedly theres a blemish in the laser etching but I can't find it! I think you'll be very satisfied

Just placed my order for one this morning (3/2/12) - tax return cash!

edit: holy cow - just got a shipping notification email from Kershawguy! That's about four hours from placing the order to them shipping a package. That is basically, and unheard of level of customer service and order fulfillment. Has to be an industry leader.
