WWII model with a fuller in it like the Gelbu Special and a 7/16ths inch thick spine. (the fuller would also be broader than the GS's)

More substantial blade than the GS. Performs all the functionality of the WWII cept its lighter and faster and should still fulfill that "all purpose role." it should also look really nice bcs it will have that sexy wide fuller along the blade. Not sure if it should be 18 inch or 16.5 inch... have to see everyones opinion on that.

no drawing required :D
is there any chance this can become a reality? UB any thoughts? anyone else interested in this kind of blade?

we can even take a vote on the name... i love mythology and legends so maybe if some1 knew of some Nepal mythos or legends that can be incorporated into the name... perhaps after a great ghurka warrior etc etc.. :)

we can take a vote or leave it up to the kami's preference... give him some room for modification is always good... kinda like letting the tattoo artist just go with it ;)

Interested, but not ready to commit yet. Let's see what happens here. I am on the fence about 18" or 16.5". Let the masses decide.

16 1/2 inch would be quicker. The 18 inch would make a better chopper. What did you have in mind? fighting or chopping?

well the idea was to be versatile like the WWII yet a little lighter... and MUCH MUCH nicer to look at bcs of the pretty (yet functional) fuller

personally like my blades with functionality in mind. the larger the blade the less practical it is if you want to take it hiking or use it in the military... bcs it weighs more and its too long and runs down your leg...

if i had to guess... id probably prefer the 16.5 bcs I think thats a great size... especially for a WWII...

keep in mind that this is a WWII with a thicker spine and a GS type fuller (fuller is actually broader than a GS's)

i have never owned a 18 inch WWII but maybe UB can give his input as to which size he thinks would be best...

I'm not going to be able to buy one of these (wish I could) but I would vote for a 18in WW2 with the handle of the 16.5in. Basically a 16.5 with a longer blade.

Hmmm, sounds like you are describing my 16.5" WWII by Bura. The blade has some nice shallow fullers on it. Way cool looking and light too.
