I did it!!!! First Custom on order now!!!!

Hi all.

Well, I did it, I took the plunge. With this year's tax return I'm getting pretty unique Greg Lightfoot knife!!!!
Customized to make me really Happy!!!!

Pics to come in about 6 months!!!
This won't be my first handmade knife, but definately my first real custom!!!

Gosh, I hope not!!!! I think I will still definately be into production knives, but this will help me to keep in mind that there is always something more. Some of my favorites are the "handmade production knives" Like William Henry, TOPS, Chris Reeves, and other production knives that have been hand finished. Likewise, I am much more likely to trust a pattern from a maker who has made a particular knife many times. Knives like these have had a lot of time to become more refined.

Can't go wrong with a Lightfoot, especially if the knife is going to be a "user". I'm planning on being the proud owner of a Lightfoot LCC if a recent deal works out.

Great choice, I am sure you are going to be thrilled with your knife.
In just a couple of weeks i will be getting my first custom knife. A MADD MAXX from Darrel Ralph. OH BOY! OH BOY! OH BOY! Am I ever excited.
