I FINALLY whittled hair. Thanks to Native Justice's suggestion about stropping on newspaper on glass. It only catches on the hair very close to where I'm holding it, but it's never done that before. If you look at nozh2002's hair splitting video, he splits the hair a lot farther than where I can, so I definitely have a ways to go before I get to that level. I haven't even tried the other stuff he suggested.
