nor did I put any faith in my best buddy who also (like in the Sharpmaker video) said ya just sharpen serrations like a plain edge. (just a lil slower)

An I wuz WRONG!

The SE Delica is the best knife I have ever owned. I keep wanting to carry other ones and do, but always end up with ol Delly in mah pocket.

The serrated edge DOES sharpen. Even down in the curves. Lightly stroke the blade against the stones EVEN THOUGH IT FEELS WEIRD and they get scary sharp. All the way down.

The lil half moons will just peel flesh from fingertips without ANY sawing motion. Just push through and ya don't even FEEL the cut. EEEECCHHHH!

Worst part of the thing is that the SE makes the knife cut like a much larger knife so it even keeps me from carrying nice BIG knives.

damn.

Yep. I've drawn more personal blood with Spyderco's than any other brand of knife I've owned. Most of the time, I didn't even know I had cut myself until I felt the wetness or saw the blood drops.

Ah, the good old days. My Endura was the first really nice large folder i owned. I was showing the family how easy it was to open with the thumb, which proceeded to slide half -way up the blade after opening. It bled for a long time. Thank goodness there was a bone to stop the blade from severing my finger. Being razor sharp there is almost no scar visible. I use a Sharpmaker weekly.
