I did not want to like this knife....

I bought a D2 Leek the other day and it is starting to grow on me. While not may favorite, I do appreciate the design etc. Very good quality and ergos but I am not keen on the slick SS handle. Might make a frankenleek with the blade.

I agree with you on the slick handles but what the knife is made for I do not mind them and designs go on the handles very well. I have a blue smoke Leek and love it as a little "gentlemens knife or small EDC" not a big assisted fan but it is ok on this knife. The edge is very good and I like the blade geometry and grind on it.

I'm with you I don't like the bead blasted handles and I also don't care for the bead blasted blade.
