I was in a hurry and left my wallet and Spyderco Military at home for the day. All day I felt abandon and naked. My mail route was never ending. Every few minutes I would feel my pocket hoping it was there.....:o NEVER again will I forget my knife! I even put a "back up" in my lunchbox! :D

It's a weird feeling for sure. I had my knife confiscated at a bar a few months ago (they gave it back when I left) but it was uncomfortable. Flying is uncomfortable too.

Had my knives confiscated for two years by some ignorant police....still got another year before I can have them on the streets again due to an ignorant judge.

You have my condolences on your nudity. :o
I hope you fondled your favorite edc appropriately upon returning home. :)

I even put an old worn out CRKT in my lunch box in case this happens again!! I know, it's like cheating with the fat girl up the street but it's better than nothing at all!

I'm really curious now :) what's your edc, and what is your back-up crkt?

My EDC is a left handed Spyderco Military. And the CRKT is an old M16-
(03Z, I think). The CRKT is just a knife I had in the drawer. Nothing special. If it gets lost or stolen I don't care. The Military was "gifted" to me by a friend-if I lost it would be hard to replace. :o

Yesterday must have been the day for forgetting knives. I have been working two jobs lately and I walked out of the house yesterday without a knife. What's worse is that I didn't notice until around lunch time. Luckily there is a Rat 1 in my get home bag.

Yup, been there. I usually never forget but every week I have an early day at work where I come in at 4:30am. Sometimes in my sleepy delirium I forget to grab my knife. The remedy for this problem is putting my EDC stuff in my pants the night before, problem solved.

It's such a frustrating feeling when you really need your blade and you reach for it and it's not there.

Yeah.. It seems we are all 'sick'~ there isn't a day when i can go out leaving my blade at home. At least an SAK in my pocket. Feels naked without it 😅

I feel empty when I don't have my fixed blade belted up despite the Buck 419 on the other side of the belt and the Spyderco Police clipped on the front pocket. I guess this is the norm for anyone afflicted with the addiction for well over half a century.
