I don't get it.....

Hey,

I've sent two emails to Jerry & Garth, followed-up by an email conversation with Pokey, which provided her with copies of those two emails that he/she promised to hand deliver to Mr. Jerry & Mr. Garth and have yet to hear from anyone at Busse. I just wanted to custom order a tglbs combat with satin blade and with some stabilized burl that I had left-over from using it for a handle on a revolver. Pictures of the handles and wood blank were provided.

As a potential customer and perhaps a repeat one at that, I'm not sure that I understand the lack of a response. I've always been patient man....

Has anyone else had this experience?

Not trying to sound negative, just want to order a combat knife.....

You do understand you are trying to order a custom knife, right?
With your own handle material, on a knife with a forever, whatever warranty.
From an extremely busy shop.
If you want a combat knife order a combat grade.
 
What sort of time lines are you talking about here? From a very busy manufacturer's point of view (my work) I need a little time to respond to special orders / requests. Even during Ganzaaaas I've had a great experience with these folks - Pokey in particular. If I needed anything I'd talk to her first.. and then follow up with her before bringing it to the forums (since they work very hard to resolve issues and maintain the great reputation that they've earned)

Your email to Pokey was brought to my attention late yesterday. That was apparently the email she received from you. As far as you sending an email to me I never received it. I apologize if we did not respond to you in timely manner but we are very busy. Your email to Pokey is on my desk and I will have a chance to look at it in the morning when I return to the shop. Please understand that no one intended to ignore you but many time with questions like this the girls in the office do not know the answers and are forced to bring them to Jerry or me. I do my best to get answers for them as soon as I can however there are days like today that I am in the grinding room all day.

Thanks for understanding and I will have a chance to review your email to Pokey in the morning and will get back with you.

Did you get my email, garth? I didn't mean to send the pics, sorry.:o

I meant to send the pics I sent. Think 360 lb man in a Speedo, and back hair shaved to resemble a naked lady (albeit a furry Sasquatch Lady).

I sent it hours ago, and for some reason no one at the shop responded...........

All I got was a Cease and Desist email, that appeared to be a form letter email..........talk about impersonal!
