So as of a week and a half ago I did not own a single Chris reeves knife and now...

I have wanted a Sebenza for a long time now and the second I got the diamond plate in my hands I knew I wanted more. Now all I can think of is selling more of my other knives to fund this new sick habit!
 
Yup, it happened to me as well. Started with starbenza then got a Diamond plate and well you get the idea!!!
 
I started off with a simple, single one piece Mountaineer 1. The next thing I know I have boxes full. :confused:....:D:thumbup:
 
I fought the urge for years - and once I bit I bit hard.

3 fixed blades, 5 lg sebbies, 1 umnum, 1 mnandi and growing.
 
Me too, first was a large 21 single lug then within a week I had a large 21 double lug, then a regular then another 21 then a classic then another regular then an umnum, then a tilock.....it affects us all, Chris must put something in the knives.
 
Yup, same here.
Started with a black and white high carbon ladder Damascus small, then a large regular unique graphic stainless Spirograph Damascus- that held me off for a few months, then, well then I got a bit carried away.
I've only had 20 or so in total, not as bad as a lot of you, but I can always feel the fever getting worse.
 
Got my first one a couple of years ago. It ballooned to four and then all were sold except for one (a Starbenza). That one sat alone for a while until I started looking on this subforum again. That lead to my new large Insingo.

I'm just glad that CRKs can be purchased by anyone with the funds. And bought used at a discount on the Exchange. No lotteries. No markups. Makes collecting them easy. Maybe too easy.
 
I started with a Professional Soldier...then a Green Beret 7.5...then a Sebenza....now I have boxes of CRK goodness in my collection...it's neverending. :D
 
It's true there must be something addictive in these knives. I have my eyes out for one more and then I swear that will be it at least until my bank account recovers.

They multiply rapidly! I am up to 12 as of today........ if all goes according to plan it will be 13 by next weekend!
 
I try to tell myself it's a good hedge against inflation. It isn't but it lets me keep collecting. I quit keeping track of dollars in/out on my Sebbie stash long ago. I promise, after I get a good deal on a used carbon fiber Insingo, I'll stop... ;)
 
I've had a Diamond Plate, it's a really nice graphic for a user knife. Congrats and welcome to the sickness!
