...having a Busse and resisting the urge to use it.

I already have a Big-choil KC BOSS Jack Proto a kind HOG helped me score. And now another great HOG helped me score a Satin, No-fuller, Big-choil one from Blade.

but since I'm only going to keep one of them, the Blade score, I'm having a hell of a time not using the KC one in the mean time. I feels absolutely amazing in hand, and is just the right size and heft and balance and design that I've been wanting forever now.

so I hold it, and slice through air, and dream big dreams of beating the snot out of it (figuratively speaking). what a fantastic knife the BOSS Jack is. I can't wait to finally use one, but I have to wait it out another week or two for the Blade score to arrive, and man - it's not easy, not by a long shot.

guess I'll have to drink more between then and now.

oh the huge manatee.
 
Well just keep both that's what i'm going to do for now. But i'll probably keep the satin and beat it. Satin seems like it takes a beating really well.
The DC i might just use for trading. But i have'nt decided for sure yet.
 
I'm actually going to swap the Black Canvas handles from my DC with the G10 ones that are on the Satin, as Satin and Black Canvas is my preferred combo. So I'll end up with a one-off G10 and DC one that I'll likely sell and the Satin Black Canvas that'll be my user.

Should be fun, but waiting is a beeotch. ;)
 
Yes i oiled my black canvas on my DC and they got really dark. I think they looked pretty good, but then once they dried they went back to normal.
Either way they still are nice. I like that red and black though. The Boss jacks are really a cool design too imho.
 
I agree, the Red/Black G10 looks great.

I was a die-hard Black G10 lover for the longest, but I've come to love Black Canvas more. The Black Canvas on my BWM is a fair amount darker now from lots of use.
 
I find it harder and harder to resist each day. Sometimes I take pity on a knife and release it to somebody who can give it the beating it needs and deserves. :thumbup:

Well, of course. It's only the sweetest knife to come out of Busse for a long time. But I couldn't stop at just one. ;):thumbup:
