Alright, you guys officially suck, and my wife hates you.

Looks like my firearm habit has been supplemented with cutting tools. I've owned several good knives over the years, with a Buckmaster my dad bought me as a teenager, a Boker Titanium blade/carbon fiber handle, and a couple of customs being the highest dollar knives.:jerkit:

Then I found this website.....bought a Chris Reeve Large Sebeenza, and ordered a Lochesa....more money than all my other knives combined.

If my wife finds out, she will crash this site!!!:D

I'd show this, and other similar threads, to my wife to help explain it to her, but I'm afraid that she would start spending on knives, and she spends enough already - on useless woman stuff !!!!:D

I don't think you're the only one with this problem. :D

Last count, there were 44, 862 of us. Welcome to our world. :)

Just tell her that the Sebenza was 10 bucks. Kind of like that Jumbo Callaway Titanium Driver of mine, cost 10 bucks.

Of course, when the new living room furniture arrives unannounced, she'll mention that she got it on sale for 10 bucks.:D :D

You are doing better than me. My new Odyssey putter was 20 bucks as well as my Benchmade Apparition:D

Welcome to the insanity.... just wait until you get into some of the other makers and discover many more of the 'must haves'

Before finding this site I was happy with having many decent but ordinary knives... since finding this site I now spend at least $200, more like $300- per knife... ouch.

I'm pretty sure your're not the only one in the boat, just think of us as your support group! :D

In the short time I have been here, I have found a wealth of information. The steel reviews by Cliff and Jim. The Edge Pro Apex in Tools, The sharpmaker, all over, Sal asking about designers, I think I'm in heaven. :)

If your wife gives you any grief, just do what I do. I've solved that problem.

Once my better half expressed some concern for my love of many sharp objects. I asked her in return how many rings and bracelets she had. When she asked me what my point was I told her to think of my knives as pocket jewlery for men. Same thing. She thought about it for a moment and agreed. I can buy knives if she gets a ring or something. (Thank God above she loves silver)

Of course, she does'nt have to know EVERY knife I bought!:D

And why not? I was just thinking of posting this AM about how knives are the guns of the 2000's. About same price as guns USED to be. Far easier to trade and a lot less hassle. And fun without bullets.

How good can it GET?
:D

All I can say is this:

1-welcome aboard.

2-it's not gonna get any better,in fact it's gonna get worse! :D get used to it! ;)

3-you want some dip?

The most expensive custom knife in the history of the world will cost less in the long run than the least expensive wife. :D
