I have browsing the Fiddleback section for some time now. You guys really have some great collections. But it seems like i do not see many Asps or Sneaky Petes. I have been checking out some of them and decided to get a Sneaky Pete. I was very surprised. It is a great knife. Looks very good and feels great in the hand. There is a Big Sneaky Pete calling my name from one of the retailer sites. Might have to pick that one up too!

I agree. The only thing I don't like about it is the name! The green curly mango on yours is really nice.

Here is a standard SP in dyed maple next to a Monarch.

They are both great fiddlebacks, two of my personal favorites! They are definitely floating around in many collections, just no photos lately

The Sneaky Pete is on my short list for FFs I really want (along with a Bushcraft Karda and a Bear Paw or Hunter)

Sneaky Pete's are nice looking and feel outstanding in hand. The Asps are also very nice in hand and are very nimble. Think of the Sneaky Pete's in hand feel like a firm handshake. It fills the hand and feels very secure. The asp is kinda like shaking a woman's hand. The Asp definitely takes up a lot less real estate in hand, but still feels great. I actually really love both equally and feel that one should purchase all three to fully appreciate the Sneaky line.

Lavawood... what is up with that big sneaky?

Ahh nevermind, the swedge was in shadow. I was thinking that was a pretty aggressive mod. But I kind of like it as a western trailing point now.

Haven't seen an Asp or SP on Friday in a few weeks, either. Really looking forward to the production version should we get one!
