I don't "understand" the Flying Mojo

I think the flying Mojo is a beautiful looking knife. However, from a functional perspective, I don't understand the design.

Why are the serrations on the tip? What is the intended use for those serrations? Won't the top and bottom serrations closest to the tip weaken the point? What is that hook-like thing in front of the top of the handle for?

Could someone please explain this knife's design to me?

I'll try to help.

The Mojo is a fighter.
Quick and light with fast recovery time.

The blade has a distral taper and gets thinner toward the tip, this helps drop weight and speed up the handling of the 8 1/2" blade.
And I think it is also drilled under the handle to lighten it up too.

The hook on top of the spine is called a blade hook.
It's function is to catch the blade of an incoming knife that is being slashed at you.

The teeth are to rip.
Those teeth will slice and tear through outer garments and flesh.

The Mojo is used for self defence ;)

The Flying Mojo and Flying Tiger are designed as Fighters, therefore the serrations are placed where they would do the most good for this type of knife. INFI is quite strong, unless you are thrusting into brick or some other extremely hard material I doubt the tip would be damaged. I have to admit I haven't done any thrusting exercises with mine so I can't answer for sure :D:D

The "hook-like thing" that you mention is a blade catch, in case the fight includes another knife.

Hopefully I've explained these correctly, if not someone will jump in and correct me :D:D

(Edited to add I see 1WB's has handled the questions already)

To me personally, they are some of the wildest looking serration I've ever seen...

Andrew, thanks for the link. Some how I missed that post.
