Well I just popped some cash down, well actually magical money I never had in my hands.


a ............... BeefMandu. I sure hope It is good. I was a little hesitant since thick blades don't slice well but I wanted a end times, pry doors open, cut zombies, stick pigs , scare liberals, survival , camp knife. So I was Looking at the GSO series but I went with the Beef. It was a bit more than a rodent 6 or the rmd but I have faith ! I also want this to be a user , I tend to keep them pretty and safe. So we will see

Well I found a little present in the mail yesterday .

The knife feels real good in the hand considering the thick long blade. im not used to a blade this size , and while only about an inch and a half longer than my dawson it sure seems a lot bigger. Which is what I wanted.

This blade I think is about as universal as one can get, it's beefy (end times, zombie ) good size blade (survival, camping) hollow grind ( should slice ok) according to all the responses to my last thread I have a feeling it will perform up to my expectations . Now I need to learn how to sharpen a convex edge all I have is a lansky kit.

Not to mention put some camo on it and it could be branded as a tactical blade.

I also need a sheath now.

The dawson raider blade is .25" thick 4.5" long
