I told Stickman that he would have a warm welcome here on blade forums Cold Steel sub forum. I told him how much we wanted him to represent Cold Steel on our forum. He emailed me back he said that he would be honored to join in on our forum. Let's try to give him a warm welcome when he gets here please. The stick man is coming

Well, he posted in the Giveaway thread under a new name (he had joined back in 2021 as CS StickMan). Progress?

There are multiple possibilities. He could have been a member before he took that name. That was only two years ago or less. He could be just another CS fan. Why not?

He told me his real name is Beamer. Well he signed it as Beamer. He also told me that he has a very busy work schedule. He'll be around.
 
My question is- What would be his role here?

Is he just going to promote GSM/Cold Steel and try to convince us to buy more, or is he actually going to address the issues that some people are having with their CS products. Issues like missing hardware, unsharpened blades, warranty service, replacement parts, etc.

I'm not impressed with "YouTube celebrities", I don't want the guys autograph. What this forum needs, and what Cold Steel needs is a customer service rep who can answer questions and solve problems. Good customer service is what impresses me, and so far what I've seen from GSM/CS has not been impressive.

The problem is that CS currently may not have employees with sufficient knowledge about the history and technical details of the products they have sold throughout their history. In fact, maybe they should hire someone here from the forum for that task.

But I also think it would be interesting to talk to Stickman, not because he's a celebrity but because he's the face of the company, and he's also talked a lot with Lynn Thompson.

Well, this has all been said before.
 
When was the last time a CS representative made an appearance here? Isn't part of having this subforum providing a representative to moderate?

isn't he a spokesperson/ in the marketing side for gsm brands? id expect he'd continue that here. what do I know though......

This would be ideal.

Cold Steel products sorta sell themselves.

The customer service is the huge gap that needs filled.
