not a particularly common knife in the UK so thought best to ask the advice of the TFFB forum

looking for a swinguard knife - no auto's or AO's as the first is band over here and second get interprited as gravity knives infact i'd best stick with lockbacks as even some of the frame locks seem to fall fowl

so far I've looked as Case and Queen but I was hoping for something with a slightly wider blade

anyone got a collection I can ponder on?

Case have not made this pattern for a while, although they still come up on everyone's fav web site now and again. This model was made for the NKCA 1983 knife.

If I recall correctly Bulldog brand made a couple swinguard models. Never handled one, but might be worth looking into

i too have been looking at swing guards,
for one with a widish blade you should check out the kabar 61107 lg, i don't know how common they are but i was checking them out in one of my knife books
too bad you don like the skinny blades because a case cheetah would suit my fancy...:D
almost forgot about the Case-Bose swing guard.. i don't own one but they look pretty sweet

It's a shame the swing guard doesn't have multiple blades, a nice small sheepsfoot would've been perfect to compliment the clip.

Here is a pic of mine prior to a rather healthy patina.

There are several available in the UK, including this 'cheap as chips' Marbles:

relay like that half guard I take it its a mod?

has anyone added a guard as a modification, I realy like the GEC Missouri Trader - i'm wonding how easy it would be to mod it?

My Queen in Zebra wood came sharp out of the box:

It's fairly large though, I carry it in a belt pouch rather than in my pocket,
