My users are missing a friend in the linerlock category I've been looking at the Queen mini hunter

is it good to go or is there something else worth looking at?

GEC makes some very nice ones, and they come with numerous options for scale materials.

If you do a little looking, you can find an original Schrade ( U.S made ) linerlocks. The 125OT is a big beefy knife, and they make a smaller knife that is also a linerlock.
I'm having a senior moment and can't remember the model number. I'll go dig one out after while and find the model number.

An old Schrade 194 OT can be found on the secondary market for around 30 to 40 bucks. Excellent knife with legendary 1095 steel. The GEC #55L is available with a spear point and a choice of scales for about twenty dollars more than the Queen. My only experience with Queen is a 1972 Barlow, solid as a rock but I know nothing of their current offerings.
Here's a bad pic.

And one of the very best! Queen Linerlock Teardrop is an excellent knife, so too their Copperhead linerlock.

GEC liners I've had, 73, 85 are really good too- better in construction than their lockbacks I feel.

RR make a very tidy Small Sodbuster with a liner too, smooth bone.
