The first time my cousin spydie54 showed me his Busses, the first thought that came to my mind was why would you spend that much money on a knife. Well that was last July, and disease or bug that is Busse did not strike until February. And like most drugs it started slowly with an AD and then Cultellus from the Ganza. Then it was only a matter of time before I got a GW and a BATAC along with a three pound mallet. And now to help relive some of the end of year stress from college I find myself on the back patio of my apartment in Duluth splitting wood with my BATAC and AD (the worse part is I own a nice Fiskars axe). My roommates still do not get the magic of INFI, but drooled over the large chunks of INFI that spydie54 brought up when he came to visit one weekend. I still do not know what kind of punishment would be acceptable for what spydie54 has done to me. But I feel that the only cure for my INFI would be a nice 3 inch Busse folder, and I would buy 8. And the worse part I was told by my lovely fiance "NO MORE KNIVES UNTIL AFTER THE WEDDING."
Thanks for listening to my story of addiction, and I feel listening to yours will help with my own addiction.

I blame my brother (not related, but we look alike) I'mGatman for getting the Info bug.
 
Better listen to the Fiancee, INFI is sweet, but not very cuddly on a cold night....:cool::cool:

Man, you still need a chopper before you get married. An FBM man!!
 
Tell her you're going to need permission for a Mistress, or the wedding's off.
 
I do not want to push my luck to much, cause I still have to figure out how to spring it on her that I need to buy a new road bike, a nice new Cannondale SystemSix.
 
Tell her that if she lets you have a Busse Mistress, she never has to worry about you getting a mistress of another flavor....
 
push your luck? ha! you, my friend, are a grade A sucker! how are you supposed to cut the wedding cake without a battle mistress? :D
when's the date? because it ain't right that a man should miss the next knobganzaa, the bladeganzaa, and any extra surprise ganzaas that jerry springs on us in the next few months. :D
congratulations on your engagement, I just hope your betrothed knows what she's getting into, what with marrying a hog and all! hahahahahah.
 
Well I did promise not to get anymore for myself before the wedding. But I could buy her a mistress and maybe a couple extra blades for a wedding gift.

Congratulations...half of solving the problem is admitting you have one, and infidiction knows no gender, race, or age barriers...(maybe I should write up a PSA, huh?) :D Seriously, if she's the outdoors type, she will appreciate having her own Busse! ;)
 
Congrats on the knives and the fiancee, when it comes to knives, what the wifey don't know, won't hurt her. A few of us have admitted to covert operations undertaken to get the new Busse into the house without the wife knowing. Hell, she does it with new shoes, purses and clothes.:D
Good start for a young man.:thumbup:
 
Let me tell you a secret, I kept my mistress and HOGFSH at the office since I got it in February this year. Still waiting for the right time to bring it home to meet the rest of the family, BATACLE, ASH 1, MINI UNCLE MOJO and about 15other Spyderco. Started collecting the spydie end of 2006 and busse end of 2007. DirtyPhill, welcome to the infidiction, man you are in big trouble!!!:thumbup::thumbup::D
