First it was going to be a small wood Seb, but I decided I could't justify the cost. Plus, I wanted something I could use the heck out of and not worry about loosing or scratching it up. So I ended up ordering a large plain Sebenza today- I got it for a bargain on Ebay. I'm guessing I won't be dissapointed. This will be my first non-cheapie folder.

Congratulations! You will love it.

Thanks guys. I can't wait until the knife arrives. But being the fickle guy I am, I can't help but wonder if I should have gotten the classic sebenza. The more I look at pictures and reviews, the more appealing the classic's handle ergonomics and blade shape becomes. My decision was made a tad hastily, since the auction was about to end (the seller mispelled Sebenza AND Reeves, so I think anyone searching for these knives would have missed it, thus my great deal).

What to do? Maybe I should post somewhere to see if anyone would be willing to trade a classic for a plain...?

You're in a good position!

After you get the knife, live with it some and see how you like it. If you still think you'd like to try the Classic, offer it for trade on the Exchange Forum.

I love my Classics, but there are plenty who prefer the regular model.

Good luck!
