1/8" 1095, convex edge grind, oak & wenge handle w/ red spacers and copper hardware.

I'm happy with it. One of the things I've learned from the Maker's section is to keep your first knife; so, I made this one for me.

You can see some imperfections. I became impatient, and made some mistakes; but, it's not too bad.

Really impressive execution for your first attempt. I like it very much. Did you forge the blade or use a blank?

I'm slowly coming around to liking the deeper index finger area on some knives, and I like how you did that one a lot.

That's going to be a very, very sturdy tip, and should drill for a fireboard quite adequately.

NICE job! I really like it a lot. You should be most pleased. I love the wood, overall lines and the file work.

Horrible Design, Lousy Execution, Ugly Ugly !!!

Send it to me immediatley for proper disposal :p

Seriously Really Nice When you decide to do them for others put me on your list.

What is the length By the way ?

Excellent work! Are you pulling our leg about this being your first knife? Looks like you've done this before. Congrats!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Yes, this is indeed my first completed knife. I've cut out a few blanks, and messed around with 2 or 3 plunge cuts; but there was always something wrong with the design or the grinds, etc. This is the first knife that went past cutting out the profile.

The blade length is 4 5/8" x 1 5/16" tall. The handle is 4 3/8" long, and just over 7/8" thick.

That is a very nice knife. Well thought out and executed. I like the convex edged blade.
Will you be offering them for sale?

Thanks. At some point, I would like to sell what I make. This is number One, and I want to improve my skill set, especially in the fit/finish. Before I sell anything, I'll do a pass around and let everyone beat the heck out of it. Then, I can use the feedback to improve.
