I finally gave the Svord Peasant what it has always needed

Nice!
Although, I like how this classic rides in the pocket with the tang sticking up, ready to grab the knife. How does the knife feel in your pocket with the clip?

Thanks.
It feels pretty stable in the pocket. Because it is a long knife, with the tang, it is possible that it can catch on things when getting out of a chair. However, compared to carrying it in the belt sheath that can be bought for this, it is MUCH more discrete inside the pocket. The tang rides high, so there is the benefit that a T-shirt can cover the top of the tang. I put a simple loop lanyard on it because this is a utility blade for me. The clip placement came out well and feels very natural in the pocket when walking or moving around. It does seem to take up a lot of pocket space, very noticeable when I put my hand in that pocket. That is the real drawback! If you want a small, low-profile pocket knife, this is NOT it. It's kinda fun because I made it work though :) I'm enjoying it. This makes it much easier to have the little Peasant along with me, EDC.

To install the clip, I drilled holes and then drilled larger counter-sink holes for the screw heads. I used flat-top screws in stainless 4-40. If anyone is doing this like I did, use a drill bit collar to avoid drilling too deep with the counter-sink bit. The plastic handle is soft and wants to draw the drill bit in deeper than you want. One of the screw heads is a little too deep, but it works.

Looks great, I've always wondered why most FF's don't have pocket clips.

I've wanted to get the Blue Aluminum one and add a tip up pocket clip.
I also think I'd love one in CF.
Or Blue G-10/CF.....

Yep, I have to get a peasant and have it modified now lol.

BC, have you used a Peasant before? I only ask because, I usually prefer my knives to be tip-up carry, but the Peasant lends itself to being deployed from a tip-down manner.

I own several Peasants with the rounded plastic/wood handle shape. I bought an Aluminum version and didn't like it at all. Very uncomfortable in the hand and the blade sticks a lot in the opened or closed positions. I couldn't open it one-handed and it felt dangerous to close. Also, the adjustments to the tension on it were almost impossible. I gave it away almost immediately.
