that is a nice knife!
i have one but had been expecting carving not embossing..
that said it is nice embossing

Buck reserved SN's up to 1000
i recall discussing this knife with several buck employees at the 20Th
i can not recall why...but

my personal feeling is that they made something less then 500 of them..
Joe would have to confirm if this number is correct..
if so - IMHO:
this makes them a rather limited issue and
well worth getting now if you collect as
it most likely will become a scarce issue
to find a few years down the road..
look for it to increase in value in a year or two..
Note:
it is well known that Buck many times does
not make all that the serial numbering can go up to..
my belief is that they reserve a high number
in case it becomes a HOT seller..

Yes, they are pretty knives. I sure like mine and matched up with an extra tooled Classic sheath that I had, it makes a great looking EDC.

did your's come with a standard sheath or the disstressed leather? the sheath that came with this one is disstressed and realy looks nice.

Mine came with the distressed leather in a LE box. It's a great looking sheath also, but the other one goes along with the leather inlays and they look great together.

I just picked up another one of them. I got it for $132 delivered from the same guy I bought from before ($135 delivered). He's closing out all his knife sales on Ebay and I think this was his last one. This was the least expensive that I've seen one go for.
