I picked a New Ritter Grip with custom scales off a buddy from the forum. I must say I love this thing! The scales transform the grip(no pun intended) for me. Feels perfect in the hand! The blade shape is also just so aesthetically pleasing as well.

Really cannot wait to get some pocket time (edc) use with this thing.

Here are some photos.

What better knife to open the package with than a Grip!

Next to my standard S30v Grip

Thanks for looking guys! I will be sure to report back after some extended use.

I have those same scales from Allen Putnam but in black. Great upgrade to an already great knife. Enjoy!

I also have a back up with Putnam "Anso" pattern scales.

Very nice!! I think I might order a set for my, now backup, standard grip.

Very cool. Congrats... I just got my second Ritter today from a fellow forum member. I'm going to post pictures, but I will do it in a separate thread, so as not to muck your up :D

No worries man. Post up the pics! I'll be putting more up anyway

I've never held a Grip with Putnam scales. I really like the way the stock scales feel, how do they feel compared to stock ?

I have large hands and sometimes feel like I have to cram my grip to fit on the standard scales. This is not the case with the Putnam scales. They are not any larger, just shaped different to allow for a better grip, for me at least. Plus it also adds some heft to the knife and balances it out, while still maintaining a light weight carry.

I'm going to get a set for my other grip

Hope that helps

Very nice

I am really loving this knife. Carries great and cuts effortlessly. Just messing around with it this evening while the kiddos are winding down for bed.

Helping me drink some coffee this morning.
Just cannot get this thing out of my pocket
