I found a SOG deluxe pocket power pliers at a local store for a very discounted price and could not pass up the deal. The tool seems pretty quality, the operation of the pliers and the geared system is really smooth and there is no wiggle in the head. The handles go together nicely and are not overly uncomfortable to use any more so than other multitools. I only have 2 real complaints about the tool and a observation. The first complaint is that the inside tools stick together more so than any leatherman I own and getting the phillips driver out past the can opener is annoying. The second complaint is the 1/4 inch socket driver, I do not normally carry 1/4" sockets around though I do have some. If I did need the use of a 1/4" drive I would already have a ratchet or better tool and don't see the need of one on this type of multitool considering that you would have to use it with the handles folded, instead of being able to extend one handle side out fully and use it or in an L shape like you could a leatherman. The observation is that although the geared system is nice for cutting and gripping, it makes using the pliers a bit more difficult one handed because you have to bring the handles out further to expand the jaws of the pliers. I can say though that it came with perhaps the best sheath I have gotten with any multitool. That all being said, for what I payed for it I am very pleased with it and have carried it for the past few days at work to play with.

Lets see some SOG tools you guys have.
