A Force One that is. I've been lusting over this knife for a while. I have absolutely no practical use for it. I simply love it for the gorgeous grinds. The handles are my favorite of any Busse so far. I really liked the SFNOLE's hand shaped mags but I can honestly say that I favor the texture of those on the Force One. Here are some photos with a SFNOLE for comparison.

Yeah, they are remarkable good-looking knives. Sometimes practical just has to go out of the window, making room for 'I want that...'

Congratulations!

If Jerry made one with fwd serrations, would that be a (flying) Air Force One? ;)

It is a cool design. If I had $, I'd consider just getting one to hold.

Thanks guys. A (flying ) Air Force One?......I'll take it :D. The slabs look like canvas to me. Hard to tell from the pics because I oiled it up..

By the way.....I found this photo on the Busse Collector site. I'm guessing it's a Force One variant?? Anyone know the story on the knife on the top? I haven't seen one of these anywhere besides this pic.

Thats a great looking Force One Ponte.... congrats!

Be careful with that top edge though.... I sliced the heck outta my finger with one of mine.

BTW, the top one in that pic above was a special grind performed by the Busse shop (at the request of the previous owner before I purchased it). I've not seen another exactly like it but there were some muddy variants that were pretty close.

Thanks Mercmaster. Guess I'll cross that one off the list then. Looks like my chances of finding one would be slim to none. Fantastic picture btw and thanks to you and Lunde for the links to all the wallpapers on the Bussecollector site.
