http://www.Imagestation.com/album/?id=4292487047

pictures 4 to 10
(4-6)
quillion dagger 10 1/2 inch blade, ebony handle, brass furniture
(7)
carveing knife, 3.25 inch blade, built up handle of manzanita burl, leather and brass
(8)
hunter, 5 1/2 inch blade, handle of desart Iron wood brass fittings
(9-10)
4 1/4 clip point brass finger guard jutoba handle.

the first 2 are flat grind. the second 2 are hollow ground.

what do you think guys?:D

Very nice, Eric. Glad to be able to see the pic's.:) Are you using Photopoint or something like it to get the picture into JPG format?

Richard,
I used photomax, anything that will pull a picture from the scanner will work. The scanner program didn't because I cuoldn't get the data in picture format.(now if I could just get the pictures to post properly)
thanks for the kind words. I forgot to say that the dagger is hand forged, and the hollow grinding was done on a 6 inch high speed bench grinder.

Eric, that dagger is great! I liked your carving knife too, I've tried that with far less success. :)

Dave,
the trick to built up handles is to shape the handle after it's installed. that way the fit is always perfect.

can I get an opinion on the small clip point, It's a new design for me. what do you think?

The small clip point has a shape that I really like. There is a resemblance to knives by my favorite maker. A very functional looking knife indeed.

The 4 1/4 inch clip point looks like the perfect carry knife. I really like your design on that one. Large enough to be useful, but small enough to be discreet. Great work on all, but that one is my favorite.

I liked 'em all! The hunter is very nice as is the carver. They look like very well made and utilitarian knives!
