took all morning to wrap the Katana-style handle...I got the wrong fingers for that job....

The sword guard was easy to make, and that trick of nicking the guard to have it push on the tang really worked,,,I had my doubts, but after a few hits the guard was rock solid.

The Handle wrap actually had to put on 2 times,,,I finished it last night,,,,took hours and hours to understand how the wrap went on the handle,,,then just before I called it a night and went to bed,,,I read that some guys put 2-TON epoxy on the wrapps to make then hard,,,so I tried to do that too...

I made a mess,,,,had to grind off the handle wraps ,,,start over,,,

but,,,thats my style...LOL

photos ,,,er,,,poor photos with fuzz on the camera, of the handle so far,,,,

Turk's head took the most time,,,I had never even heard of such a knot,,,,,,it was hard to follow the video,,,,and then it took forever to get it up into position and tight,,,but it really helps the look of the handle
