It was easy! I pressed the blade on a table and pushed down on the handle in the OPPOSITE side that it seemed like I needed to. It did take some force and I was a little worried about breaking the knife. Now I not only have good centering, but I gained some trust in this lightweight knife being a lot tougher than it looks.
I did not mess with any screws in the process. Just thought I would post a success story on this fix.
