There a hunting store by my house I decided to drop by the other day. They have a Benchmade 15030 mini Bone Collector with the green scales. I know these are discontinued and I've really wanted one (though i would prefer the 15020 for my large hands) but can anyone tell me the value on these? I would expect that they're somewhat desirable? I just need justification to pay the $130 that they're asking (they're way overpriced on everything in that store). Any opinions? Anyone want to trade me for their 15020? :eagerness:

I personally wouldn't pay that much but they are getting harder to find and all. The minis come up on the exchange every so often for about $80 IIRC.

I looked on ebay and could only find partially serrated (ew) for $120. I might snag it when i get paid. Or just finally get a 940

My vote would be the 940. I have a Mini Grip and a 943 and the 943 gets used much more often.

Maybe look at the M390 bladed Doug Ritter models over at Knifeworks. They're on the dealer exclusive page.

That's a pretty fair price for that model, I think they were 110-120ish online when I got my large one? Been a while so I can't remember exactly but they're a really solidly built folder with a thin grind, strong tip, smooth and hard use lock

I have the full size, and it's arguably a step up from the standard Griptilian 550. It's a great blade and I'm still pissed at Benchmade for discontinuing it.

Get it brother!

I have the large and had the small one. The only reason I got rid of the small was that I prefer a bit bigger knife. Fit and finish on both was great and I think that they're well worth $130. They do pop up on the exchange, but I don't see too many of them, so if you go that route you might be waiting a while to find a good deal.

Alright, I'm getting it. Ill save up for a 940 later, at least I'm not concerned about being able to find a 940. It'll make a nice piece even if it doesn't replace my para-military 2 for an edc blade.
