Nagel's Guns and Knives in San Antonio has a large number of discontinued Spyderco models in stock. I picked up their last two CE Guntings yesterday and an SE Jot Khalsa. They do not have a website of which I am aware, but their phone is 210-342-5420.

Is the C68GPS version really discontinued? I've had no idea! I had mine for years, and I always wanted a PE one... So what is it now with the Guntings, PE and SE only? I don't think I ever saw a fully-serrated one...

I think they are closed on Sundays. Whether or not the CE Guntings are discontinued, no Guntings have been made for a while, and most dealers and distributors have run out of the CE versions. According to Nagel's the CE Guntings have been discontinued. I believe the SE Guntings are extremely rare, and were never made in any quantity. Hawkbill, they did not have any rare or discontinued Harpies that I can recall, but try calling; it is a fairly large place and I may easily have missed something. They did have more Kershaw Talons left, which you may find interesting, with your interest in Hawkbill knives.

I had no idea Guntings were that hard to get. Anyone know why? Is the demand just much higher than the production rate, or is there more to it? No biggie, just curious... :)

Nagels is a great place to wander and shop. They prices are not the cheapest you will ever find, but we worked out deals on everything i bought.

I highly recommend sticking you nose in if you ever get out in that area.
