I work in a machine shop, and the other day, I got a bunch of gunk in my mini-grip, so I went over to our lubricant shelf, and grabbed a red can (I figured it was the lube that is in a very similar can) to spray the pivot. After spraying, I noticed that the action was much cleaner than usual, and the blade would freely rotate (I keep my screw pretty tight, so it has never freely rotated before). The spray was called "QD Electronics Cleaner", and you can buy it at NAPA etc. The spray dries immidietly, but leaves a thin film in the action that lubricates amazingly without attracting dust! I now use it on all of my knives, and just thought I'd share it with you guys too.
Just to let you know, this spray does not actually lubricate the action, it just cleans the snot out of it so that it can move freely.
