I found a kershaw 1410 Ti handles

At the bottom of a gear dry bag... Have no idea how it got there Or where it came from...it looks like an old school model. It says 1410 ST and Oregon USA on the blade, which is half serrated, the handle says Titanium and ATS 34. It looks to have Ti handles and steel liners (it's a liner lock). Tough little sucker, heavy for its size. Not really my style...but it is still cool to find a Ti kershaw...it looks barely used and in great cond. overall... It's been lost for a loooong time. Any of you familiar with this knife?

Oh yeah! I have a plain edge version. Made around 97-98 or so. 1410, 1410st 1415 and 1416 are the larger and g10 models "xxl starkey ridge". Also the ti talons 1420 and 1421st and the ti hawks 1435 were all part of this high tec series. These from what I remember were the first of the newer style kershaws right before the ken onion era. Ats34 steel with a good heat treat on all these.

I love mine and my southern comfort ti talon! The 1410 is the smoothest knife I have ever owned/ held. I have owned a few kvt pieces too.

Ive got one, smooth as glass. Probably my favorite knife to cary after i put a deep cary clip and an actual thumbstud on it. Not a big fan of the original thumb stud. You can also open it using the round thumb ramp on it blade using your thumb.

Great find! I have the Ti, G-10, and G-10 XXL Starkey Ridge models. Btw, you can also "wave" the regular models using the jimped round part of the blade, just takes a bit of practice.

Good call scott and turtle. I often use the rounded jimped portion to deploy with my thumb and have played around with it deploying out of pocket. Its such a sweet model!
