I found a knife! (Spyderco)

So this is the 3rd time I've found a knife. First one was about 5 years ago, under the race car seat at an arcade, it was a Caterpillar. The second one was outside the courthouse, next to the curb right where I parked, a cheap Spyderco Delica knockoff. This last find was different though.

My girlfriend gets in my truck and when she puts her seatbelt on I hear something fall in between the door and the seat, she thinks she dropped something and digs out an old Spyderco Delica with the molded clip on the handle. She tells me "it's one of your knives", but it's not. I had never seen that knife, and i don't have any friends that are into knives that might have left it in my truck. It is very weird because I have no idea how it could've gotten in my truck.

Does anybody have a similar story?

When I got home today, I found a box at my door with a Benchmade inside! Funny thing is, a chunk of money disappeared from my bank account a few days ago...

But seriously, as a kid I found an "awesome" knife while camping. When I got older, I figured out it was a Frost Cutlery

When I was about 10 I found a Mora 2000 behind a busstop. I loved that knife, but sadly my dad managed to misplace it. A ton of sentimental value.

What Benchmade magically appeared on your doorstep btw, bpeezer?

True story, last year i found a CRK Sebenza outside the gun shop down the road. It had initials engraved on it. This thing had been SUPER used. I payed 3 dollars to list an ad in the paper. A man called and told me about the initials and also told me there was a small "3" inside the scale. He was the owner and i returned it to him. He gifted me an s30v Blur for returning it. I have the blur in my edc line up to this day.

Mini griptilian, I love it already! I thought it would curb my knife addiction for a while, but now I want even more :p

When I was 12 or 13 (I'm 25 now) I was goin to baseball practice and about ten feet from the field I saw something shiny on the ground. I picked it up and it was a little skeleton spyderco roughly the size of a dragonfly. Sadly I have long since misplaced it. Didn't even know how good a find it was until I really got into knives a few years ago.

Lost several but oddly never found any.

Good story NCCNC, honesty always pays off. Mostly just for ones integrity but its nice to get a little knife too.

Not that similar: I've found 2 knives. Both in the middle of the street. First was on my paper route probably 30 years ago. Gerber sportsman in a pouch with a steel. Backspring and pivot were so loose I could flick it open. One of the wood inlays fell of after about 10 years of carry, use and abuse. Karma: it's the only knife I've ever lost. Still have the sheath and steel.
2 years ago I found a lowes-brand locking folding utility knife. There wasn't any active construction near that intersection, so I didn't know where to return it.

In your case, have you driven any coworkers around? Or any contractors or people you don't normally hang out with?
Did you buy the truck new?
If No and Yes, do you leave the windows open? Maybe it's criminal evidence that someone was trying to dispose of...
Either way - unless you figure it out - Free Delica!

NCCNC - Well Played!

I was a mechanic at a large uniform rental place on the east coast, any way once a month we would have to take the drum outta one of the big dryers and we would find rings, chains, change and of course knives we kept them 30 days of no one makes a claim we got to keep 'em. Now most of these guys worked there for years so they all had plenty of knives, so who did they give 'em to? Me of course, most were POS knives but I got a few Spydercos, and a lot of SAKs.

We did have one guy call in about his wedding ring, he got it back and was grateful, has another guy call and say he left an "eightball" in his pocket, he didn't get it back, he was ungrateful.

We just bought my wife a used car from a guy about 3 hours away. When we got back we found a never used, Gerber multitool in the door. He was cool about it and told my wife just to keep it...... It's going under the four wheeler seat.
