I found a new way to carry a Photon light!

This may be old news to some but I found a decent way to carry a photon light, by using two small key chain rings through the lanyard hole in my multi tool. It hangs outside of the sheath but seems to work.

That's pretty much the way I carry my own Photon, except I have it hanging from my SAK and I use a paracord lanyard. I keep my SAK in a pouch type sheath hanging from my side instead of attached to a belt, and with the Photon on its own lanyard it's super easy to use it for a quick check when I need a little bit of light. Beats digging in your pocket all the time.

Like V I carry a phton attached to my SAK, as well as my LM Micra and another on my keychain (as well as the LED on my Midnight manager SAK) LED lights are just too cool.
At work I have a photon, cuff key, car key, SAK Rambler and a whistle attached to my whistle chain. Doesn't leave too much of a bulge in my shirt pocket, but all have come in handy.

In addition to the one I have on my keychain, I keep one attached to the bungee cord/waist tensioning strap of my parka, which is located inside the hand-warmer pocket.

Incidentally, my parka always has a mini-kit distributed amongst the various pockets that would normally go unused.

Back to lurker-mode!

I keep a neck knife on a lanyard. I leave a small amount of lanyard tail (about 6") to which I attach my LED light. That is stowed in a slip knot which keeps the light from dangleing. The light is at the 3 o'clock position with the knife at the 6 o'clock position.
Does this make any sense to anyone???
Thanks

I took the gator clip and ring off the nylon cord that came with my Photon and attached them directly to the light. Now it clips onto the lanyard ring of my SAK and hangs outside the sheath. Having it there makes it easier to draw the SAK and I can use the light with it still clipped in or detach and use it without drawing the SAK from it's sheath.

just my 2 cents...

Imagine that you are wearing a lanyard around your neck with your neck knife and sheath dangling (or whatever you want to dangle). About 4 inches abve the knife sheath is a small piece of short cord tied into the lanyard (4 to 6 inches). The purpose of this short cord is to hold your light so that if you let it go it will dangle on the lanyard. You can't lose it.The cord allows you to focus the light whereever you want and still have it available without putting it down. Also if you are working at night the light will shine over what ever area you are working over.
In order to secure the light when walking etc just form a slip knot in the short cord and pull the light up tight to the lanyard where it will not swing.
Whew....
Oh well I tried.

My photon lights are always attached to traser glowrings. That way, you can always find your flashlight in the dark.

I use a medium carabineer and then a series of smaller ones, loops of para cord and split rings. A bit of a bundle but everythings together.
