I found a new way to display my traditionals

Found these stands on the Internet. They looked nice enough that my wife didn't take issue with me showing them off. ;)

For someone like me who likes grabbing a different knife to carry every few days, I think these will be great.

Those look darned nice Jeff. Sort of like ornate furniture. I can see why your wife didn't mind. :thumbup:
What does the seller call them?
 
Those look sharp! Classy, too, and traditional-looking in their own right.

I don't think I could handle the dusting. :D

They simply call them black walnut pocket knife display stands. If you want the link PM me about it.
 
Those look great! I've been pondering a way to display mine in the workshop/man-cave. I'll have to keep those in mind. Thanks!
 
Those are very nice stands, Jeff! I have an old parts cabinet that I store my knives in, but more often than not, half of them are scattered around the spare bedroom work table where I sharpen knives, clean guns, etc. Something like this would be nice for keeping them out of the way - making them look presentable would just be a bonus. :D

The other thing I've been thinking about doing is getting an old cigar box (preferable a wide, shallow one), removing the top, lining it with the drawer liner material I used in the parts cabinet (or maybe even some leather) and using it as a tray for the knives that haven't made their way back in their drawers yet.
 
That looks great! My wife would handle those in our room well, I think I need to go shopping:)
 
Not only is it a handsome and functional setup, but it also gives you a great reason to acquire a few more knives - there are empty spaces! :D

We actually have 3 cats, but they typically dont climb anything unless there is food up there. You have me worrying now.
Also, thanks for the :thumbup: its currently my entire traditional collection.

Ha! That was what I was thinking. Between the 2 cats, dog, and 4 year old my knives would be scattered everywhere! Those are very nice though and the first ones of that kind I have seen.
